Bet on a feeling with the Guts betting app

Guts are one of the new breeds of sports books. They started out life as a casino only site back in 2013 and then added a Sportsbook a few years later. First impressions of this online gaming company are good! They have come along way in the few years the have been operating and have one of the most popular casino sites on the internet. New to guys betting or Guts casino? Join now at and you can claim one of the generous welcome offers available across sports and casino. It’s not only a website Guts operate, there is indeed a Guts mobile app that allows you to bet on sports and play in the casino, anywhere and anytime.

App download guide for Android & iOS

At the time of review, Guts have yet to release a downloadable app for either Android or the iPhone. Will they release one? Yes we are pretty confident that they will but they may just opt for their web based mobile app which you can access at This is a HTML5 web based app that will work on any mobile or tablet. A lot of bookies and casinos are opting for a web based app as it is compatible on all makes and models of phones and tables (meaning they don;t have to develop an iOS app and an Android app) and you get the same experience across all devices. In cases like this, we add them as a quick link to the home screen or save the link as a favourite so it is easy to access in a few clicks rather than typing out the web address each time we want to bet or play.

If guts do bring out a sports or casino app that you can download from the appropriate app store, we will update this review and guide quick sharp! So in the meantime, just use the mobile site for the same cracking playing experience on any mobile.

Guts mobile app

Placing bets via the app

Guts have one of the simplest, best looking betting apps going. It really is a piece of cake to get a bet on. Launch the mobile site and make sure you have an account (create one here if not – ) then log in and deposit funds to your account/wallet. This is a real money betting app and as such, you can only bet with cash so fund your account first. Now, the fun can begin. Its now a simple matter of choosing or finding what to bet on. Guts has over 20 sports to have a punt on and you can see all of them by pressing on the view all sports button. On the menu, scroll and find your sports and press it, then select the competition. For example, you want to bet on Spanish football, press Spain, then select the division to see all available games. Find the match you want and you can click on the odds to the right for outright winner or the draw, or tap on the game name to see more markets. If you fancy Atletico Madrid to beat Rayo Vallecano @ 4/25, tap the odds box and that selection is now on your bet slip which pops up in the bottom right of the screen. You can add more selections, or click on the red tab and here is where you add how much you want to bet (the stake) Enter the amount and the potential winning amount should your bet come in shows. If you are happy press place bet and your bet is now on. It is the same process to add accumulator type bets, doubles and other bet types to the betslip.

Our verdict on the app from Guts: Is it No Guts, No Glory?

As we mentioned earlier, we do really like Guts as an operator. They have a really good reputation for looking after their customers and we have had no problems at all when using their mobile app, either for placing  a few bets or having a spin in the online casino. As mentioned earlier, there is no downloadable Guts application for Android or iOS devices but don’t let that get in the way of them offering a very good mobile site. They may not be the most popular bookmaker in the UK yet but they are making a very good name for the brand across Europe and are getting a lot more exposure here in the UK with TV adverts and sponsorship deals.

What we like about the app

Launch the mobile app from Guts and we are sure you will be pleasantly surprised by the subtly styled design. It is very simple and minimalistic with a light grey and dark grey design which we really like. The main navigation menu can be found at the top of the page and here you can click and jump between the Guts casino, poker, live casino and of course the Guts betting platform. If we look at sports first, you can click on the icon and go to the sports lobby. The homepage of the app shows all the live games and match highlights happening now. Here you can find football, tennis, Ice hockey, basketball and several other sports available by a quick link. Guts cover and allow you to bet on over 25 sports with all the big, popular ones available including those just mentioned as well as Table Tennis, Volleyball, MMA, Esports and cricket. The big omission from the bookmaker is horse racing. Quite why they chose not to cover racing, we are not sure but you can access and bet on all the other sports on the Guts Android mobile app and also the normal website. You can click on view all sports and see the full list available. Football is well represented on the app and Guts cover all the major leagues around the globe and have lots of good markets to choose from. If you have ever wanted to bet on the Honduran Liga Nacional Apertura or the Estonian Esiliiga leagues, you can find them on here too……..we are not too sure how many punters will bet on these lesser known leagues but they are there. In total, there are matches from over fifty countries worldwide available and close to 100 markets for you to have a punt on. Cash out is available over a lot of games and markets which is good as not all bookies offer this feature.

Odds wise, guts are very similarly priced to other big bookmakers. You get the same odds on the mobile app as you do on the website. In play and live betting is available and there is always a good choice and range of sports available to have a punt on. Odds update quickly and if you are following a match live via the site, the information is very quick to update. There is a handy search tool that you can use to narrow down your selections, just tap on the icon, enter in your match and search and you can get a list of all the available games and matches for your selection.

Our favourite highlights of the app

  • Slick, simple design
  • Decent market choice
  • Good odds
  • Decent football coverage
  • Account access
  • Very fast
  • Sports betting, live casino, poker & casino in one

There is another menu at the bottom of the page that you can use to log in and out of your account, see a list of FAQ’s, see betting rules and contact customer care. In terms of promotions and offers, Guts are not quite up there with some of the competitors. They do offer a good rewards program that join when signing up to the bookmaker. If you haven’t heard of value town before, well you have now……… #valuetown is Guts special prices which you can find on both the mobile site and app. Here you will find unique special prices across a wide array of sports, including football, tennis and even UFC. They are worth checking out to see if anything takes your fancy.

Guts casino app

As mentioned earlier, Guts casino is also accessible on the mobile app. In here you can find over 850 top titles provided by the best games providers going including NetEnt, BetSoft and Microgaming. Most of the games you will recognise if you have played on an online casino before, but they do have some exclusive titles too. You can find everything from table games to slots and the game play on them is great. It is easy to find games to play on and you can use the handy menu to select your games type, then filter by title. Guts have always been better know for their casino than their betting arm so it is no surprise to hear that this is what most Guts visitors go for – the casino. There are always several promotions available for players and this can be a new player welcome bonus, weekly special offers, jackpot weekends, free spins and a leader board where you can climb and play against other players to win cash and prizes.

Guts casino app review

As part of the casino, there is also a live casino where you can play with other players against live dealers. The streaming is perfect and there is a really good choice of options to play on. Guts also allow you to play poker on the mobile app too and if you are new to poker, check out the handy guide that they have available. Whenever we have logged on, there has always been a good number of fellow players waiting to give you a game.

All in all the Guts mobile app is a very simple app that does what it says on the tin. It has a good sportsbook that covers all the sports you could want with good odds, a really good casino with an amazing choice of top games and a live casino and poker room. If you are after a new bookie or gaming company, give them a try at

We really think Guts casino and the betting app have a great future ahead of them. As more customers start to bet and play on their mobile, Guts will do well as  they offer a no nonsense app with great odds and an even better casino experience.

Ringring11” – Casino side is very good, sports needs improvement to be up there with the big boys
